In a Patagonian maritime ecosystem, where the cities established in the Gulf of San Jorge have only one economic activity, the extraction of oil and, to a lesser extent, fishing, a new latent way of inhabiting this region is proposed. This region has a hostile climate, with scarce precipitation and high-speed winds.
The proposal is to take advantage of the existing conditions, leveraging the climatic conditions and coastal formations, to obtain new resources previously not considered, both for sustenance and to support neighboring areas, complementing the deficient regional market.
The urban areas are located between two productive systems: the terrestrial and the marine, relating to and complementing each other through different uses that each coastal formation assigns to each urban area.
